Noisy Crows
Noisy Crows
“Noise” in printmaking is a term used to describe the stray marks left over from carving or the printing process. Some printmakers prefer perfectly clean prints, but I believe that a little noise adds movement and character. For this block the noise really brings the crows to life. Hence the title “Noisy Crows”. You can choose between acid free cardstock or hand torn BFK rives lightweight paper in warm white. This is a limited edition of 100 prints.
Acid free cardstock is 5.5 x 7.5” with clean edges. Rives paper is approximately 6.5 x 10” with hand torn edges. The crow block is roughly 5” across.
